MIDTC Paywall makes launching a paywall on your site as simple as adding one line of code.
The MIDTC paywall is platform agnostic, meaning it will work with any web or circulation system – or even no circulation system.

You can gate your content any number of ways:

Hard Paywall – every piece of content is gated and requires a login screen. This can also be done by site section if you only want certain sections to be locked down.

Metered Paywall – allow users access to a certain number of articles before they are presented with a log-in screen.

Premium Paywall – allow users access to some sections for free, others must be paid.

Custom – we offer custom parameters for content gating including Geo/IP based gating, and action-based gating, for example completing polls or surveys, or contributing content to earn access.

Our paywall can be configured to allow existing subscribers access so you’re adding value to their subscription.
If you don’t have an existing circulation system, we can add an e-commerce module so they can purchase access to the site, or even purchase print subscriptions that you can fulfill if needed.

If you have an existing circulation system, we can integrate via API, any user export, or via a manual admin panel.

Analytics – you can track usage with custom or out-of-the-box analytics integrations, so you can monitor both how subscribers are accessing content, along with what types of content generate the most new subscriptions.

Our paywall is a compliment to our Web subscription portal. If you don’t have a Circ system, or your existing circ system can’t offer subscriptions online or has a poor or complicated user experience, we can also supercharge your subscription sales with our Web Subscription Portal. Easy online subscription sales (both for print, e-edition, and web) are key to any circulation strategy and our portal allows you to do custom direct mailing pieces, one page purchase offers, or custom circ landing pages, all fully customizable.
